LEVITTOWN, NY — An Elmont man was arrested on Tuesday after police say it was discovered he had installed a camera in a women’s bathroom in Levittown.
According to police, a woman entered the bathroom at Hunter Business School, located at 3601 Hempstead Turnpike in Levittown. She saw what she thought was a cell phone charger plugged into the wall next to the toilet. As she was leaving, the woman looked at the cable and saw there was a camera lens and a slot for a SD card.
The police were notified. Police say their investigation led them to Shehzad Asif, 37, of Kingston Street, Elmont. He was arrested without incident.
